At Mama’s Cheeky Boutique, we are honoured to share a very special addition to our collection – the Women’s Prayer Journal, in memory of our beloved mom, Connie. This journal is more than just a book; it is a tribute to a woman whose life was marked by a resolute faith, fervent prayer, and firm devotion to her Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ.
Connie was a faith-filled woman who carried her burdens to the Lord and found solace in His promises. One scripture that echoes her life of faith is Matthew 11:28-30, where Jesus extends an invitation to the weary:
"Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light."
Throughout her life, mom faced many ups and downs, like many of us. During challenges and hardships she held tightly to her faith in Jesus. She was a woman of prayer, constantly interceding for her family and friends, writing her petitions and praises in countless journals. After her passing, we discovered these journals filled with her heartfelt prayers, thoughts, and reflections – each page a testament to her deep and abiding trust in God.
Inspired by her mother’s legacy, Amanda has created this Women’s Prayer Journal to encourage others to pour out their hearts to the Lord, just as Connie did. It is a space to record prayers, reflect on God’s faithfulness, and find rest in His presence. Whether you’re navigating life’s storms or celebrating its blessings, this journal invites you to experience the peace and hope that only Jesus can provide through weekly scriptures and spaces for journaling reflections, thoughts, and prayers.
Mama’s Cheeky Boutique was established in honour of our mom, but ultimately, it is a place where we seek to bring glory to God.
